I stupidly chose MS Office as the app to share my screen... but I need to show a video. How do I remove that foolish choice please?
Diana, Welcome to the Community! This is where you can go to get help with all things Canvas and to talk about teaching and learning! In reading your question, I'm not totally sure what's going on or how it relates to Canvas. Is this on a computer in a classroom? If so, then you would want to contact Technical Support at your specific school to see if they can help.

Initially, When I was working through the tutorial on creating a Conference
and sharing my screen during a Conference session, the message popped up
asking my what app I wanted to use to screen share. I chose Microsoft
Office. Now when I try to share my screen, all that I am bale to do is to
choose picture files from my downloads folder. I cannot change that to open
other files - such as video files.
Do you know of any way I can remove that preference and make a better

Diana, thank you for the explanation! That makes a lot of sense now that you've talked through what happened. I'm honestly not sure how to fix this, but I'm going to share this with Fred Dixon, who is an expert on Big Blue Button (conferences), to see if he can help.
