Good Day, I have completed Embry-Riddle's Aviation 101 and would like to know how I may achieve my total scores.
Hi Amanda! Is your question referring to the self-paced course offered through the Canvas Network (Aviation 101 - Canvas Network | Free online courses | MOOCs)? I noticed in the class that there is a tab for badges, and clicking that provides a popup window where it appears you can click on the badge when the course has been successfully completed. There is also a link where you can check on the criteria for earning the badge. This link indicates, " Badge is issued after student completes (with grades above 80%) all twelve modules." Although I do not know for sure, I would assume that when you finish the class you will be able to see this indicated in the badges tab.
The class also appears to have a grades tab. If you click on this you should be taken to a screen where you can see your grades. In the upper right-hand side of the screen there is a button to print your grades.
I hope this helps!
Thank you for you reply.
Yes I am aware of the badges and the grades however when I am on the grades
section and I scroll down to view my total overall score there isn't

That is a good question Amanda. I would have thought that your final grade would be displayed when all of the modules were completed. I see that you left a message in the technical support portion of the course. If you haven't already done so, it might be worth using the question mark icon on the left-hand side of the screen to message the instructor directly and ask about the grade book showing a final score. Other than this, there isn't much you can do as a student.
Looking at the class, it indicates that the assignments are not weighted so you could calculate your score by taking the total number of point you earned and dividing this by the total points possible in the course. If you need to provide evidence of course completion to someone, the printed grades will show each assignment and your score on these and there is always the badge. However, hopefully someone in the class will respond to you before long.
All the best---
Thank You again,
I truly appreciate your prompt replies.
