A1=Z1 Function in Canvas?

I would like to have a tabbed syllabus and have it printable as a single content page, without having to copy/paste each tab to a new page to print. I would like this to be set-up as an automatic function, so the single page is updated automatically when the tabbed syllabus is updated (or vice versa). Much like in Excel where you can enter A1=Z1 and the contents from cell Z1 are copied into cell A1 and automatically updated.

I found html/javascript code that may do something similar, but I don't think it works in Canvas:

<div id="div1">Welcome</div>
<div id="div2">Overview</div>

$('#div1').html($('#div2').html());

Any thoughts as to whether this is possible in Canvas and, if so, how to set-up something like this? Thanks for any thoughts or ideas you may have.
