Hi - I am trying to add a file to a page and the file will not save after following the steps to add a document to a page.
I have two classes. It has saved to one but not the other?
Hello Andrew. This sounds very strange. What do you mean when you say that the file won't save? Is it loaded into the Files tab but you cannot embed it in a page or can you embed it in the page but when you go to save the page the link disappears? If you can save the page, do you get an error message of some type when you try to click on a link?

Hi – I think that my storage is too high as when I look at the page where you add a course it is there several times. Five or more.
Is there any way of deleting four of the added courses as they are coming up in my dash board with no.’s in front like child brides3.
I think this is part of the problem. I tried to delete and add in a new course as I teach two senior classes and tried to copy the course from that one inro the other as it is a mirror course…This is where I think I got into trouble.

Hi Andrew. There are ways to delete courses (see How do I delete a course in an account?) but these directions reference this from someone with administrative rights to your account. I would suggest contacting a Canvas administrator at your institution and working with them to delete the courses that are clearly duplicates of one another. It is also possible that you are running into a personal file quota limit (see How do I view course files as an instructor?). In the document it states,
Course files include any content uploaded to your course. By default, each course has 500 MB of storage space in Canvas. Administrators can change the quota for the entire institution or on a course-by-course basis. Files uploaded to your course will not count towards your personal file quota.
If this is part of the problem, one of your Canvas administrators could also work with you on this.
