Hi A S...
If I am understanding your question correctly, you would like to know if an instructor would be able to see your name to let him/her know that you've imported that shared content from Canvas Commons to your own course, correct? If that is the case, I do not think that happens. I haven't been able to find anything in the current Commons user interface that would tell me that person A has imported content on this date, but person B has imported content from Commons on a different date. Maybe the closest thing that I could think of (which might not even address your question) is this Guide: How do I view updates to resources I previously imported from Commons? But, this is more for updates to things that have already been shared to Commons.
Please let me know if I have misunderstood your question or you have other questions about this...thanks!
Hello A S. I concur with Chris Hofer. I have content in the Canvas Community and cannot find a way to see how many times this has been downloaded or by whom. There is an idea open for voting that covers Common statistics, Option to view analytics for items in the Commons, although I don't see that it mentions who downloads content specifically. You might consider voting this up if it is a feature you believe would be beneficial!
