Is anyone starting to incorporate Augmented or Virtual Reality in their courses? There is a lot of buzz about it in different chatrooms and blogs. If so, what type of courses are you using it in?

I'm not, but I attended a great talk last week, given by a professor in my area who is using VR in her classrooms. She teaches construction management and uses VR as a way for her students to "visit" construction sites regularly, in particular during evening classes when it wouldn't be safe for them to actually walk through a site. It also lets them walk through the sites and find/markup errors in the VR world. I believe she posted the full presentation online -- probably not quite the same as seeing it in person, but it was fascinating to get a sense of how she's using VR in her classroom, and some of the opportunities and limitations in doing so.
