None of my classes are showing up on ICON. Please help.
Hello Dylan Bolton Welcome to the Canvas Community, and thank you for posting your question here. I had to do a little bit of digging around the internet to see what ICON was at the University of Iowa. I'm assuming that the U of Iowa has branded the Canvas environment as "ICON". Unfortunately, the majority of people here in the Canvas Community would not be able to assist with this kind of question because we do not have access to your school's Canvas environment. However, I can give you some general tips and guidance. First, in Canvas, have you tried clicking on "Courses" >> "All Courses"? Do you see your courses listed there? You may see them listed, but they may be in an "unpublished" state...which means that your instructor has not yet "published" the course to allow you and your classmates to access the content. If you do not see your course(s) listed on that screen at all, then there may be a problem with your registration. I would recommend that you reach out to someone at your campus either in the Online Learning (or similarly named) department or someone from your Registration department that would be able to assist you in getting you enrolled into your course(s). I'm wondering if there's more than just issues with one University here, Eastern Florida State College here and all my classes also just disappeared.
Hello Kevin, have you tried the ideas suggested by Chris Hofer without luck? If so you might contact your institutional support team or Canvas support as well. Whenever I wonder if an issue is involving multiple institutions, I check the following site, Canvas Status. If an issue is widespread it normally will be noted here and I don't see any indication there is a problem. This does't mean that something new hasn't just occurred, but if not indicated on the Canvas Status site I normally suspect that the problem lies with the institution and not Canvas itself.
I hope you will let us know if your classes reappear and what response you receive if you do contact someone with support and get an answer.
