A few months ago, I found that my background color turned white. In fact, it makes me very discomfort. How to make him return to the original grey?
lingyi, as far as I'm aware the default for the background is white, not gray. Yet, depending on your school, they might have some type of theme that they had or have in place for your specific Canvas environment. Something else to consider is whether you have any type of Internet browser app/plug-in that might alter the background. My recommendation is to start by contacting Canvas Tech support at your school to see if they can help.
Hello there, lingyi yang...
The new design of the Students Grades page was actually part of the October 28, 2017 Canvas Production Release Notes. You can read more about the reasons for the design change by visiting this particular section of the Production Release Notes... Grades: Student Grades Table Design.
To improve typography and design consistency across Canvas, the student Grades page includes updated CSS for the table display. Table content always displays with a white background except for assignments affected by a grade rule set in the Assignments page. Previously all graded assignments also displayed a gray background.
Since this was a change for all Canvas customers, I don't know if there would be a way to change it back to how it used to be. My guess is...probably not without reverting a lot of behind-the-scenes code. Also, this wouldn't apply for just you or for just one course. This was a change that affected all users, all courses, and all Canvas customers.
I hope this helps.
