I have a question bank with 10 question in it.

Eight of these questions are formula questions with 30 possible solutions each.

If my calculations are right that gives me 242 possible questions in that question bank.

I set up a quiz with a group of 20 questions from this bank (see picture).

**I keep getting the two questions that are not formula questions multiple times.**

**Am I doing something wrong? **

#### I do not want duplicates questions, which is way I spent HOURS creating the formula's so I would have 242 questions to choose from.

Hi Craig Ogden...

I'll begin by stating that I don't have a lot of experience using formula questions in quizzes, and I don't know if this is even close to a correct answer, but I'm going to give it a try... I was trying to re-create something similar to what you're doing in my own sandbox course, but I think I was missing some pieces in my formula question I was creating. However, as I was reading over your question again, you stated that your question bank has 10 questions in it, and 8 of them are formula questions. I can see where you are getting the number 242... (8x30)+2 ... but I'm not sure that's the way to calculate it. You still only have 10 questions, not 242. So, as you've shown in your screen shot, you're telling the quiz to choose 20 questions from that question bank...when in reality you only have 10 questions to choose from. Could this be part of the issue? Again, I may be totally off on my answer, and I may need to pull in some other people like Kona Jones, Stefanie Sanders, or Robbie Grant.

Thanks,

Chris
