Hey all,
Canvas by Instructure v3.9 (iOS) was just released on the App Store. If you attended InstructureCon you got to see the awesomeness being delivered in this release. It includes:
- A calendar to view things that need to be on your radar by day
- Native quiz taking capabilities
- Sent messages tab
- A lots of bug fixes!
A note on native quizzes - We currently support quizzes with true/false, multiple choice, multiple answer, essay, short answer, and text only question types. As you use this new feature, feel free to let us know what question type you'd love to see supported next. We released with these initial types that are mostly used, and will be adding more. We also don't currently support quizzes natively that have a passcode restriction or one question at a time quizzes. If the quiz contains unsupported question types or capabilities, it will still direct you to a web view, as it was before.
