Is there a way to export quiz questions to a word document to also provide written copy of online version? Quiz was created selecting random questions from a question bank?
You could go into the quiz in Student Preview and then "print" the page to PDF. The formatting may not be great though. Another possibility is to use a product called Respondus 4.0. I have not used the product in a while, but they at least used to have a functionality where you could pull quizzes directly from an LMS into the product, and then they do have a print option which creates a good layout. I'm not sure how it will work however with the question bank.
They have a 30 day free trial so it might be worth at least checking it out. I've known people in the past who often needed both print and online versions of exams to use Respondus as their authoring tool, then producing both print and pushing the exams/quizzes into an LMS.
I have used Respondus for years, but never realized that tests could be printed from it. So I decided to give it a try this morning, and it works beautifully! I will definitely keep this in mind next time an instructor needs a paper copy of a test for some reason. Thank you for mentioning this! I learned something new today!
Jules, there's not a built in way to do this, but the easiest way I've found is to use the following user script - Print Canvas Quizzes UserScript.
Hope this helps!
