I have set due dates for Canvas Discussions, for the first time - I've always left that blank in the past.
Question: What *exactly* happens when a due date passes?
(For example, if a due date for a discussion is July 16, and now it's July 17.)
* Can students still post in that discussion?
* If they do post late, can I still grade their post however I wish?
~ There is no information about this in the Canvas Instructor Guide, and in fact, the page called "How do I create a discussion as an instructor?" doesn't even show a due date field!! ~
