I have a piktochart that I want to be on the homepage of my course. When I upload it, it is embedded. I would like for the image to be on page without having to be downloaded.
I got it work after I did more research on the Q&A page. (I promise I tried for over an hour before I contacted you guys ha!) I had to get the embed code from piktochart after I made my image public and use the HTML editor on Canvas. It was zoomed in on my piktochart just like I needed. Thanks for your help!
Hi Sara and welcome to the Community! How are you linking to the image on your homepage now? I just tested a couple of methods. If I go to "files" in the content selector on the right side of the screen then the image is placed as a link that needs to be selected and downloaded to view. However, if I use the "embed image" button in the rich content editor or find the image I uploaded in the "images" tab of the content selector, the image will appear as soon as the page is opened. Does using either the "embed image" or "images" tab option provide the appearance you would like?
All the best!
Excellent! That is good to hear Sara and thanks for describing what you did to make it work. I am not familiar with piktochart but am going to check it out and see if it is something our faculty could benefit from as well!
