How do I add a image or a banner to the top of the home page?
Start with an image wide enough to fill the space of the content area. This will ensure it looks good on desktops, as well as mobile and other devices with smaller view ports/screens. 2000 width, may be too much for Canvas, this is an example.
Add the image using the Rich Content Editor. Once the image is in the editor, click the HTML Editor, and set the width of the image to 100%.
<img alt="course banner" title="course banner" width="100%" src="http://via.placeholder.com/2000x300" />
Save the page. Then play around with the width of your browser, making sure it continues to fill the space when the screen gets larger and smaller. Check it on a mobile device.*
*Try this in Chrome and use the Developer Tools - Device Toggle. Right click the image, choose Inspect Note the image dimensions, and check out the Responsive menu
Robert, wow... just wow! This is a great response and I'm bookmarking it for future reference!
Thank you! Kona
