We have an employee who was a Canvas Administrator who is returning to the classroom as a 3rd grade teacher. How do I change her permission from Admin to teacher?
Shanda, you would want to remove her as an Admin from the Admin Settings. Go to your Admin view of Canvas, click Settings, then click the Admins tab. Click the X next to her name to remove her as an Admin. For her to then be in a "teacher" role you would create her 3rd grade class in Canvas and add her as a teacher.

For some reason this teacher, who I removed as an admin, is still receiving Canvas Admin update emails. Any ideas?
You might need to reach out to your csm as they maybe on a Canvas Admin email that they manage and would need to manually remove them from that list.
