I have uploaded my zip file from another LMS into my course shell. My university's instructions for importing resources into Canvas tell me to "choose to expand it when Canvas asks what to do" but I don't see that option.
Hello there, Bonita Huiskes Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thanks for posting your question. The prompt for unzipping your file only appears when you are first uploading the *.zip file into your Files area of Canvas...not after the *.zip file has already been uploaded. So, you'd have two options:
Once either of these things has been done, you may not need the original *.zip file stored in your Files, so you might want to consider deleting it...but that's up to you. How do I delete a file or folder as an instructor?
