I am trying to email my class, however it seems it is an invalid request. I have not published my page yet, would this be the reason why I am unable to reach out to my students?
Howdy! I'm assuming by page, you mean that you haven't published your Canvas course yet. Student's won't receive messages through Conversations in Canvas until the course is published and made available to students.
When a Canvas course is in its very early stages, many instructors prefer to use external email to communicate information with students and then switch to Canvas Conversations once course enrollment has stabilized or the course is published.
