Hello!
I have been using Canvas for many years and simply cannot figure out how to solve my problem.
I run the Who's Who's election. It is easy to do the voting portion. I have no problem with that.
I cannot figure out how to run the nominations portion of the elections. I certainly do not want to go back to paper ballots with teachers counting in homerooms and tallying. Is there a way for students to nominate peers for who's who that does not involve the students typing in names and then me counting what has been entered? There will be nearly 400 potential nominations. How do I run nominations using Canvas?
Thank you for your time. You are all so helpful! quiz question type ungraded survey #nominations surveys
Hi Sarah
Have you considered using a Google Form to collect names, then using the Google "Responses" sheet (a spreadsheet) to tally the responses? There is some good guidance in this discussion from my friend Stefanie Sanders !
Let us know if that might work.
Perhaps some of the other great minds (great like yours, that is; rather than, tired old ones like mine) in this Community will have better suggestions.
