Hi. I've setup my Canvas course. It's published and all looks good. But I've just received a message from a student saying he cannot post a comment to an introduction discussion. Any ideas?

The first thing I would suggest, is that you go to the discussion yourself and see if other students are able to post to it. If it is just that one student, I would suggest the student try a different of more recent browser. Sometimes these things are the result of an outdated browser.
Second thing to check is that while your discussion might be published, is the module it is in published?
Then I would check your discussion settings to see if the "Available from" date set for some future date, or that the "Available until" date is not in the past?
