Possible to add an iframe into community posts?

The videos from Instructurcon 2018 have been posted and they offer the ability to embed them - the embed code works great, except when I tried to embed one into the Canvas Community. the iframe code looks like:

<iframe allowtransparency="true" title="Wistia video player" allowFullscreen frameborder="0" scrolling="no" class="wistia_embed" name="wistia_embed" src="https://fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/nvin3zxoiv" width="400" height="225"></iframe>

In edit mode the embed code appears to work fine and previews the video, but when I click save it changes the code to:

<iframe class="wistia_embed" frameborder="0" height="225" name="wistia_embed" scrolling="no" title="Wistia video player" width="400">

</iframe>

which strips out the source URL and no longer works. Is this intentional? If so, could an exception be made so that the conference videos can be embedded in the community?
