I need help submitting my assignment. I am not familiar to google docs. I am so frustrated.
It is very difficult to diagnose this remotely without access to your Canvas instance. I would recommend reaching out to Canvas Support via the Help Menu in Canvas who may be able to better assist with your particular issue (especially as your submissions have shown up blank for your teacher).
They have access to your school's Canvas instance and can look at your particular case in detail, and should be able to assist you further.
Hope that helps!Stuart
Joni, from your message It sounds like you are trying to submit a Google Doc as an assignment. For directions on how to do this see the following guide -
How do I upload a file from Google Drive as an assignment submission in Canvas?
Hope this helps!
This makes no sense what so ever.

Perhaps you can give us some screenshots of what you are attempting and where you are finding issues? If you can tell us specifically what you are attempting, and the steps you have taken thus far that would be really helpful.
Look forward to hearing from you

No worries at all, can you please tell me, does the assignment page ask you to upload a file from your computer? Or can you possibly send a screenshot of what you are seeing on the Submit Assignment page after you press submit please? (For uploading a screenshot, it is best to reply to this thread directly in the community, rather than replying via email).
Look forward to hearing from you.
I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO SCREEN SHOT ON A COMPUTER. sorry about caps. i did
everything the directions said and i got the message'this file is not
acceptable.' why is it so hard
I will try and help you as much as I can, if you are unable to take a screenshot, you may need to visit your school support services to ask them to help you out though as it will be incredibly difficult to help you through text chat. However, I will try to give you instructions based on what I understand so far to help you out.
From what I understand, you mentioned you can't find the work to send, and then you are getting an error that 'this file is not acceptable'.
I would suggest reading through this document Article - Google Drive - How to Expor... With your document open, start at step 2. Export the document as a PDF.
Save that on your computer in either your Downloads folder or your Desktop, and try uploading that file in the assignment submit screen.
Hope that helps, please let me know how you go.
so, all my entries sent to my teacher showed up blank. Please advise me how
I can get help on Canvas and google docs before I have to drop the class. I
am pulling my hair out with frustration.
