My instructor used this application and has requested that his student submit assignment here. I'm not sure how to locate his contact(s) and upload files.
Hello DANEDRA ALLEN Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thanks for posting your question. I'm not sure if you realized this, but you have posted your question in the global Canvas Community website where people from around the world come to ask questions, suggest new Feature Ideas, post blogs, read Canvas "how to" Guides, and much more...all about Canvas. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "this application", but I'm assuming that you mean Canvas...which is not this interface. Canvas is the LMS (Learning Management System) that you sign in to at your school that contains courses you are taking. (Searching your school's website, I see that there is a "Canvas" link at the top of the screen: University of North Texas | University of North Texas.)
You asked about submitting work to your instructor. While I cannot give specifics about your assignments (because the majority of people here in the Community wouldn't have access to your school's Canvas environment), I can at least give you some links that should help get you started. Depending on the kind of assignment your instructor is asking you to submit, you'll want to choose the appropriate link below:
How do I submit an online assignment?
How do I submit a text entry assignment?
How do I submit a media file as an assignment submission?
How do I submit an assignment on behalf of a group?
How do I submit a peer review to an assignment?
How do I submit a cloud assignment with Google Drive?
How do I upload a file from Microsoft Office 365 as an assignment submission?
How do I submit a cloud assignment with Microsoft Office 365?
There are also a couple video tutorials that you can watch at any time:
Assignments Overview (Students)
Assignment Submissions (Students)
Finally, I found these Guides by clicking on the "Guides" link at the top of any page here in the Community. If you choose the "Canvas" option in the "Guides" menu, you'll then see a page where you can select "STUDENT", and then you can go to the section on "Assignments". If you choose "Videos" from the "Guides" menu, then you'll see an entire listing of tutorial videos that are available to you.
I hope this information is helpful to you, Danedra.
