Is there a way to send announcements just to students, not to parents? Thank you.
I'm in higher ED, but when we set up an announcement we are able to select specific roles we want that announcement to go to. I would think you would have the same options within the K12 Canvas.
Thanks for your response. My announcement options look a bit different:
Mark and Brian, the discrepancy between these two screenshots is that Brian is looking at Global Announcements (account level) and Mark is looking at course-level Announcements. I am not aware of a way to exclude parent/observers from receiving course announcements, in that viewing course announcements is an Observer permission by default (see What is the Observer role?). Perhaps someone in the K-12 world has found a way to circumvent this.
