Is it possible to have the score option ‘approved’/‘not approved’ in a quiz, as in Discussion and Assignments? I cannot find it. Why shouldn’t it?
Ståle, the closest I can think of is the ability to have a graded survey. For this it acts like a quiz, but regardless of what the student answered, as long as they do the survey they get full credit.
Do you have a specific use case for what you are wanting? If you share that then maybe we can help come up with something that would work for you.
Thank you for your respons.
I do use survay, but the thing is that I don’t want points at all, as it is not an exam or test, but just regular homework. I would like to just put accepted/OK or well done. Quiz/survay is better than assignments as I can give several questiontypes. Assognments and Discussions have this option to grade without using points.
The school system in Skandinavia is not a fan of points. We like personal feedback better. Points could distract.
Should I send in this as a feature idea?
Yes, you could absolutely add this as a feature idea in Ideas!
Ståle, thank you for following up with an idea submission. To close the loop, we have marked that idea for archival, in that Complete/Incomplete is one of the marking options available in Quizzes.Next (the Quiz LTI is based on the Assignment | External Tool type). For more information about our new quiz tool, please have a look through the resources in the New Quizzes User Group. Thanks!
