student enrolled in one of my classes but is not included in the email to all students.
Cassandra, do you see the student in your People list in the course? When you go to the Inbox and select this course and then click on students does the student show up? Is it possible that the student is in a different section - but still the same course as everyone else?
Is the student who is not included enrolled in the course as a Student, or perhaps could they be enrolled in a different role such as Observer? When you send messages, perhaps instead of selecting all in students, instead use the All in name of class option. This should include everyone in the student role as well as any other possible roles such as Observer.
If the issue is just that the student is not receiving the messages it could be that his/her notifications are not set to receive those messages outside of Canvas. Below is a guide that can assist the student with setting their notifications. The Conversations section is for messages sent from the InBox.
