Stuck in Preprocessing

I am currently teaching a class. I was trying to import a quiz from a previous section of this class, but the file didn't fully export, so as I try to import it, it is "not available." Canvas is stuck trying to import it, saying it's "pre-processing." It's been trying to do this for over an hour and I suspect it will never stop trying to import this incomplete file.


All the questions I've seen regarding this issue say to reset the course. However, I am in the middle of teaching it with 60 students. I cannot lose all of this information, their grades and assignments, and the work I've done on this class so far this semester.  All I need is to cancel that one import and I have queued files behind it. It seems like it should be an easy fix, to just cancel or delete an import. But I fear I will never be able to import any other files into this course forever.


Is there a fix that doesn't involve me losing my entire course? Because this is ridiculous.
