students work in group to answer a study guide question. how can they see other group's responses?
By nature, groups and group discussions are meant to only allow members of a group to have access to what is posted in the group or group discussion. Since students can only be in one group per group set, simply adding them to the other group(s) is not really an option.
Perhaps creating a new discussion that is NOT set up as a group discussion and then asking each group to post a summary of what they discussed is the way to go. A summary of the discussion would be a good way to narrow down what is going to be presented to the other students and not overwhelm them with what might be a lot of information.
Thank you Rick, I agree with your assessment and suggestion to create the open discussion where groups can post their work to be seen by their peers.
