On the parent app, I am seeing my child's courses from last school year in addition to her current courses. How can I set it up so that I only see current courses?
Hi Melinda - I know it's been a while since there has been activity on your question, but I wanted to add something. I did a bit of digging into this situation this past term, and I have confirmed that the stars or "favoriting" courses on the desktop does not affect the Canvas Parent course selection. I wish it did! I have shared your story and others' concerns about the disconnect between the desktop and Canvas Parent with the Canvas Mobile Team.

On a desktop, sign-in to your Observer account. You can adjust the courses that appear on your dashboard by clicking Courses then All Coruses. By clicking the star to the left of the course's name, you can remove them from your dashboard.
After refreshing Canvas Parent, if the past courses still show up on the app, it may be because your school concludes (or does not conclude) courses by term. If you see past enrollments after adjusting your dashboard, I encourage you to submit a help ticket with your local Canvas support team. (How do I use the Canvas Parent app?) By explaining your situation, they may be able to offer additional help than I can as a member of the Canvas Community. Each district is *slightly* different than the next.
