I'm trying to find information on using Orbis with Canvas. I have no idea what Orbis is or what it does. Is anyone familiar? If so, how or could it be used with Canvas?
Ummmmmmm............................ I just gots to ask - If you don't know what it is, and you don't know what it does, why in the heck would you want to know if you can add that unknown quantity to Canvas?
Anyways, Orbis is an Elsevier product that is a platform for peer reviewed journals. Typical subscription s are based on broad topic ares such as science, politics, law etc.
There is also Orbis' Outcome, an an Experiential Learning Management Platform. It’s a single source technology solution for the management of all experiential learning.
I think you get my point.
while I suspect the first option I shared can be integrated with Canvas, because many #Elsevier products can, I doubt if the second option can be integrated. I would suggest checking the EduApp Center.
As strange as it does sound, I could not find anything in the EduApp center. I tried googling for information and came up with
Our executive director wanted to know if there was an LTI app in Canvas available for Orbis. I had no idea it was possibly connected with Elsevier.
Thanks for the info.

The things members of our executive teams ask!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Uh, I heard about this at a board meeting where somebody said it was real shiny and far out, man! Can we add it to our Canvas?"
Been there, done that and bought the groovy souvenir T-shirt!
I would ask her/him what problem he is trying to solve with that product, and how he thinks it could benefit your students.
