Hi
I am wondering if there is a way in Canvas to see which files for a page are currently live and being linked to. We have maaany files on our pages that have multiple versions etc., and I would like to know if there is a way I can see which ones can be deleted without then leaving links leading to nowhere.
I used to use a similar set up for a website which would warn you before you deleted a file that it had XYZ live links/uses and on which pages
Hello there, Kirsty Elson
Welcome to the Canvas Community. Thanks for posting your question. The only thing that I've seen that comes close to what you're asking is a blog post called Tool to Identify and Delete Unused Files written by Christopher Phillips over in the Instructional Designers group here in the Community. This isn't widely available for other Community members right now, but I'm on the list of very interested people who would love something like this, too. (By the way, if you're not following the Instructional Designers group, click on the group link and then click on "Follow" at the top right corner of the screen. Also, next to that is a link for "Actions". Click that as well, and then click on "Join group".) I know this might not be the exact answer you were looking for, but I hope it at least helps a bit, Kirsty.
