How do I add students to my class?
Different schools have different policies regarding Canvas enrollments.
Many schools, like mine, automatically enroll students in Canvas based on official enrollments from the Student Information System. Teachers can add TAs and other teachers, but they are not able to add students are their own.
Other schools allow--or even expect--teachers to enroll their own students. If your school allows teachers to add students to their classes, you will be able to use the instructions at

and "Student" will be one of the available roles that you can grant when you add someone to the course.
