How to I make the grades in the grade book weighted for quizzes different from homework?

In Canvas, grade weighting is done using Assignment Groups. To put it simply, they are the categories (quizzes, homework, participation, etc.) that you use to group things in the Gradebook so that you can assign percentages to them.
