How do I upload a Google Slides presentation? I have tried 2 different ways and I still have students that are not receiving the presentation. Thanks
With Google Slides, you don't actually upload (unlike Powerpoint). Like Kona mentioned, you can embed the presentations in a Canvas Page or inside a Discussion prompt -- anywhere you see the Rich Text Editor.
When I am looking at my Google Slides in editing mode, from the File menu, I choose Publish to the Web.
Then I choose Embed, and I'm going to opt for a custom size: 600 pixels wide.
Then I copy that scary-looking huge chunk of HTML code in the box,
I go to Canvas and create a new Page,
I type some text, then I position my cursor where I want the slide show,
and I click on the insert/embed media button,
pasting in the code I copied.
It works: this is an open course so you can click and see the Page here with an embedded slideshow:

You can also share by link instead of embedding, but embedding sure is convenient! Then, any changes you make aer automatically reflected there, and anywhere that you have embedded the slideshow.
chris, are you wanting to put the link to the presentation in Canvas, embed the presentation on a Page in Canvas, or something else?
