How do I view multiple submissions? I submitted an assignment, received feedback. I then submitted another section of that assignment. I can only see my recent submission feedback, I need both!
Hi Savannah Thompson Welcome to the Canvas Community, and I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. Unfortunately, this has been a complaint for quite some time by many in the Community, including from instructors! You can see (and vote) on a Feature Idea that is up here: Student view: View submissions and comments for all submissions .
To address your immediate concern, unfortunately about all you can do is ask your instructor to produce a PDF version of your submission with his/her comments. Instructors ARE always able to access all submissions, even if students are not. The other "solution"--which is too late for this specific case--is, as soon as you get feedback on a document--to save a version yourself. You can do this, as outlined here, specifically in the part with the heading Download File: How do I view annotation feedback comments from my instructor directly in my assignment submission?
If your instructor has been using Canvas for awhile, odds are s/he has heard about this issue already. But in any event, once your instructor accesses the previous submission, s/he will have a download button similar to what you see in your view. And then it's just a matter of getting to the PDF and viewing the comments.
I hope this helps a bit, Savannah, even if it will involve a few extra steps on your end. Good luck on your studies, too!
