Is it possible to create question banks in Quizzes.Next which are shared between several teachers?
According to How do I add content to an item bank in New Quizzes? you can add questions from any course you have permission to create and edit a quiz.
We have some teacher who work together and are all enrolled in a courses as teacher where they all share questions to the item bank, this will allow them all to use those questions in any of their other courses. My teachers have the ability to "Start a New Course" which is on their dashboard. If you don't have this option then I would check with your institute to see what they might suggest.
Have a great day.
Hello Trygve. I have been revisiting older Quizzes.Next questions to see if updates are appropriate. I found the following information in the Quizzes.Next FAQ page that may be helpful, FAQ: New Quizzes
This feature has not been built yet, but will be added at a later date.
Is this information helpful in answering your question?
Hi Trygve Buanes. There hasn't been a post to this thread for some time so I am going to mark it as assumed answered. I am going to go ahead and mark this as "assumed answered" for now, but this can be changed if needed and marking the question as assumed answered doesn't prevent continued discussion in the thread.
All the best!
I am having this same issue. My math team has one canvas course in which we are all "teachers" for the course. We have started to split up the work of creating question banks. However, any bank I create in Quizzes.next is NOT available for other teachers in the same course. They can see the quiz I created and what I called the question banks. However, if there was an error for one or more of the question banks, I am the only one who can change it. Are there plans to make collaboration accessible? If I were to get sick or leave my school, they would not be able to access any of the question banks I have created.
Hopefully I am wrong and there is some way to do this already! Thanks for your time! Stacy Anderson
Hi Nicole. This has come up frequently, but the FAQ for Quizzes.Next (FAQ: Quizzes.Next) still states that this feature will be added in the future. Hopefully this is sooner than later!
