Changing a rubric for a course

Hi, I am trying to edit a rubric for a module: PSY4011 Thinking Psychologically at Bradford. Please could you advise on what I need to do? Many thanks.

Hi Catriona  and  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

 

It is quite easy to edit a rubric.  If the rubric has been used for grading, you will get a warning message, but you can move past that.

 

If the rubric is already attached to an assignment, quiz or discussion:

  • Navigate to the graded content,
  • Open the rubric,
  • Click the little pencil on the upper right,
  • Make your changes, then
  • Click "Update rubric".

 

If the rubric is not currently attached to graded content:

  • Go to Outcomes,
  • Click "Manage Rubrics",
  • Select the appropriate rubric from your list,
  • Edit and save as described above.
