I like to add student to do's on Canvas pages. Things like reminders to bring to class, or a reminder that an assignment is due in a few weeks, etc.
For assignments, if I unpublished a page, the to do does not show up but in a page it does.
I love they way they show up for students but I set them up before the course as an unpublished page. Then, when I want the student to see the to do, I want to publish the page with the appropriate date I have set it up before the term start. I am finding the to list is populated in the course summary and to list whether the page is published or not.
Is this the way it is supposed to work? If so, I would request that the to do is tied to publishing of the page just like it is tied to a published/unpublished assignment.
Any thoughts?
Elaine, are you looking at your course in student view or Instructor view? From student view you should’ve be seeing anything that isn’t published. If this isn’t the case, then you would want to submit this as a help ticket to Canvas Support. To do this click the Help link in Canvas and Report a Problem.
