OAuth2 flow with Single Sign On enabled

I'm developing a Google Form that will create courses in Blend.  This form will be available to all of our teachers.  I'm working through the OAuth work flow documentation.

When I run the first request:

GET https://<canvas-install-url>/login/oauth2/auth?client_id=XXX&response_type=code&state=YYY&redirect_uri=https://example.com/oauth_complete

The response is our districts Single Sign On Page.  Is there a different flow/configuration I should be using to bypass SSO? Or should the user already be Signed In to Canvas prior to requesting the OAuth token?

Thanks,
