I am trying to create an online final exam with questions that have images. My images are currently jpgs in a Power Point, what is the easiest way to incorporate them with a multiple choice question.
Hi Karen. What I would suggest is first going to the Files tab of your class and creating a folder for your images ("images for quiz 2" or something descriptive). Then I would save all of the images I would like to use in the quiz in this folder, which may involve first saving them from the PPT presentation to your computer if they aren't easily available in .jpgs separate from the presentation already. After the images have been uploaded to your files tab, then when you create a multiple choice question you should see in the Rich Content Editor a button for "embed image" (see image below).
Click on this and then you can choose to select an image from "Canvas" and under "Course Files" you should be able to locate the folder you created earlier, select the image that you would like, and also include alt text, change the size of the image, etc.
After selecting "course files" you can also use the "upload file" feature to find another image if you didn't upload it to the files tab earlier.
Images can also be added as responses to multiple choice questions. To see the content editor options for answer choices, first click the pencil icon for that choice.
I hope this helps and let us know how it works!
