In the student analytics within a course, how are "Good Score", "Fair Score", and "Poor Score" defined?
Response from Canvas Support:
"Thanks for contacting Canvas Support today! I was able to find out that if a student scores above the 75 percentile = Good Score, 25-75 percentile = Fair Score, and below 25th percentile = poor score. I apologize that we are missing documentation for this, but this is a link to our guide that gives more information about the course analytics page: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10297-415266791"
Hi Heather. This is a really good question. I thought that I remembered reading somewhere that a good score was median or higher, a fair score between the median and the lower quartile, and a student score below this is poor but I can't seem to find documentation for this now. Hopefully, someone can confirm this or point to something that describes better how these labels are derived.
All the best!
Thanks for the update! This is good to know.
