My assignments are locked how do i unlock them. In the meantime I am using canvass helps.
Hello, Michelle Tucker Welcome to the Canvas Community! There are a number of reasons assignments might be locked, or might appear to be locked. Some instructors design their assignment flow through the use of module requirements and prerequisites, meaning that students have to complete tasks in a certain order. For guidance on this, please refer to How do I view Modules as a student? Another reason an assignment might be locked is that the instructor has placed an availability date on it—so that even though the assignment name is visible, the instructor doesn't mean for students to start on it until a specified date. Last, it's possible that the instructor has not yet published the assignment, either deliberately or inadvertently.
Your best next course of action would be to contact your instructor directly to find out why the assignments are locked. You can use the Canvas Inbox to send a message to your instructor, as explained in How do I send a message to a user in a course in the Inbox as a student?
