I have it created as a powerpoint with audio and included it in a module as a file, but it looks like the only way for students to get the audio is to download the powerpoint. Is there a better way to do this?
Lori, yes, but it will take a little more work on your part. The only way I’m aware for students to be able to view PowerPoint with audio IN Canvas, is if it’s a video. So instead of adding the audio slide by slide to PowerPoint, you use a screen recording tool (free ones include - Screencast-O-Matic, my current favorite) to record you talking through your PowerPoint and then this saves as a video. What I then do is upload the video and the PowerPoint to a Canvas page for the students so they can watch the video and take notes on the PowerPoint handout (if they choose to print it).
Hope this helps!
