Text Alignment in a Page

Hi all,

I'm attempting to change the margins(?) or layout of text within a page so that it aligns with a banner image at the top of the page.
I'm not super concerned about mobile at the moment and imagine that the page will look different on different computers.

That being said, is there a way to prevent text from running off into the right side of the screen way past the point of being aesthetically pleasing...?

Here's an example of the text running past the image as far as it's allowed:

And here's an example of if I hit enter within the RTE so that the text lines up with the image there:

Both screenshots are of the published page, not taken within the RTE.

As you can see, the text does not align with the edge of the image upon being viewed outside of the editor. Is there a way to use html or the RTE to either align text with images and/or keep text from spreading across the page as long as it can?

I've been searching for quite a bit and can't even seem to figure out the correct terms I should be using to search for this information, both here and among the wilds of the internet. The joys of learning html...

Any help or suggestions appreciated!

Thanks!
