Embedding videos - students not allowed to view

Hi,

I have embedded YouTube videos using the correct tool (YouTube external app - then embed) I think.

However, students cannot watch the video. This is in a NSW high school. Obviously, students aren't just allowed to go to YouTube itself, but my understanding was that embedding this way meant they were not taken to YouTube, but only allowed to view the embedded media and so students would be permitted to view.

Help?

Thanks

Dave
