Within our Canvas courses when we have “muted” assignments, the feedback is still being released to students via email notification?
Is there an admin setting that is being over looked?
Sarah, if an assignment is muted, the students definitely should NOT be receiving any notification or feedback about the assignment. If you are sure that someone didn't accidentally unmute and then re-mute the assignment, and that students did get notified while the assignment was muted, then I would definitely contact Canvas Support. To do this click on the Help link in Canvas and Report a Problem.
