Why are students turning in assignments in Quizzes.next and they become late grades when graded by teachers?
Hi Austin Stolle,
There's a known issue for this Quizzes.Next bug, which is causing on-time submissions to be marked late when they are graded after the due date. I recommend submitting a ticket with Instructure support so they attach your case to the engineering tracker and notify you of any updates. Feel free to reference my ticket #0405552020.
Mine is doing this. How do I submit a ticket? Also, is there anyway to set up questions to give partial credit. Example: For a matching question there maybe 6 vocab words that I want students to match with the correct definition. The whole question is worth 6 points. So each vocab word is a point essentially. If they miss one out of the 6 it will automatically award 0 points. I have to then go back and manually award students points for the vocab words they got right. This takes more time and I feel should be fixed.
Hi Jennifer Files
Click the "Help" icon on the the left side global navigation menu, then select the "Report a Problem" link. Unless your institution has this setting disabled, this should let you report the submissions-being marked late issue.
Unfortunately, partial credit isn't yet available for multiple answer questions (see: Quizzes.Next Feature Comparison).
There are a few feature ideas to get this functionality added for matching, sorting, categorization, and fill-in-the-blank questions:
Partial Credit for Matching Questions in Quizzes.Next
Partial Credit for "Matching", "Categorization", and "Sorting" question types in Quizzes.Next toolQuizzes.Next: Allow partial credit for fill-in-the-blank questions Partial Credit for "Matching", "Categorization", and "Sorting" question types in Quizzes.Next tool

When I click the help on the side this is what pops up. What do I do next?
