Hi Courtney. We haven't heard from you in a while so I thought I would check back and see if my previous response was helpful or if you found another solution to the issue in your original post. I am going to go ahead and mark this as "assumed answered" for now, but this can be changed if needed and marking the question as assumed answered doesn't prevent continued discussion in the thread.
All the best!
Hi Courtney. When you say that you received notification that the student submitted feedback, how were you notified and did the notification state anything particular? In my Notifications, I have set that submission comments will be emailed to me immediately. As a result, every time that a student makes a comment on an assignment they submitted, I am emailed that this has occurred and the message contains a link to the comment itself. I could also go into the course and assignment directly to see this in SpeedGrader. Might your notification be similar? Was the lecture part of an assignment?
If there is a survey that is part of the course, I imagine this could be another location for the feedback to be located. To access this you would need to go into the course and to the survey. The survey could be part of a Module or located in the Quizzes tab. Once in the survey/quiz, you could click on "survey statistics". Questions are listed on this page with open responses accessible through a button that links to SpeedGrader. If the survey is anonymous, then the responses will not be shown in SpeedGrader but they can be reviewed by clicking "student analysis" at the top of the page and opening the Excel sheet created.
I hope this helps!
