Using Quiz Statistics to help determine question validity

I used CANVAS to give a test for the first time and now am reviewing statistics.  My standard procedure is to review item analysis and then "drop questions" that I judge as poor indicators of students knowledge.

I am struggling how to do that with scores on CANVAS that are automatically posted in grades.  My first thought was to simply adjust the total possible, but it does not look like that can be changed.  Is there a way to do that? Or is there a way to have specific questions changed to accept more than one answer (e.g., rather than "d" is correct, "B or D" is correct)?  Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

(Reason for this is to determine if a particular question was missed by most students to see if maybe the question, itself, might be in fault.)
