I ask my students to answer 1 of 3 possible essay questions. How do I get CANVAS to ignore the other two rather than counting them as 0/100??
Just a thought - would it work to put all three questions choices into one question and ask students to choose from there?
Looks like that's what I *should* have done. But my students have already taken the quiz, so now I'm stuck!! My workaround is to add 200 fudge points for the two skipped essays, which gets me to the correct grade in terms of A, B, C for my students. But, b/c CANVAS doesn't allow weighting, I'll still need a fix for my grade book. My workaround last semester was to just change the quiz from a graded quiz to a practice quiz and add an assignment called Exam that just has each students' correct points (the exam is worth 10% of their grade, but currently is graded out of 400 points). Sure wish CANVAS would allow weighting as that would be far easier!!
