Does anyone have a step-by-step tutorial for someone with a non-IT background to create a custom gradebook column. I have no issues reading this documentation, but I have no idea where to even begin. What do I write in? (Google Doc? Word? Something different?) Where do I upload what I've written? I'm really looking for a step-by-step instruction on how to create these custom columns. They are not for teacher notes. We are trying to add recovery credit exams into our Canvas courses (1) the grade the student got (we do not want it to affect the gradebook, we are using grade override for that), (2) reason for failing RCO (got below passing/did not show) (3) reason for needing to take RCO (below passing/dropped out/academic leave). Can anyone help on this? It would be greatly appreciated.
